When it is Hard to Love, Love Harder
12 WAYS TO LOVE HARDER
- Go up to someone you’ve never met before, hand them a $10 bill and say, “You look absolutely awesome/stunning/gorgeous/beautiful/handsome (whatever you want to say!)” followed by, “Have a great day!”
- When you see a police officer, fire fighter, a service man or woman, nurse, doctor, EMT, etc. – Thank them!
- Ask, “What may I do to help?”
- Offer to buy a homeless person whatever he wants from the store he’s sitting in front of.
- Do a 30-day forgiveness meditation for someone you are angry with or you dislike… personal or public!
- Admit you were wrong, but don’t ask for forgiveness.
- Write someone a Letter of Appreciation.
- Be lavish with your verbal praise… and mean it.
- Don’t just wish someone a happy birthday on Facebook… text them; call them; send a card.
- Choose who you associate with… Stop associating with people who don’t do anything but make you feel bad about yourself or your life.
- If you can’t do that… make a list ahead of time of things to talk about with those people that do not involve complaining about life.
- As Mother Teresa once said, “People are illogical, unreasonable, and self-centered. Love them any way.”

Awakening to Life
Happy New Year: 2018 is the year! This is the year that we awaken, truly awaken, to the beauty of life that Spirit intends for us to live.
What might that awakened life look like? Each week in January, 2018, we will explore this question while we reground ourselves in our fundamental New Thought teachings.
Join us for services on Sundays @ 11:00 a.m.

My GULP Mantra
I expand in abundance, success, and love every day… as I inspire those around me to do the same.
I expand in abundance, success, and love every day… as I inspire those around me to do the same.
Ideas of Power, Holmes Papers Volume 3, (from a talk given at the Wiltern Theatre, April 27, 1958)
It is our philosophy that if we scrape away the debris—that which contradicts the divine Presence—we shall find a Divinity concealed in everything, every person, everywhere, all the time. It is our belief that in such degree as we may individually and collectively perceive this Divinity, It will appear. “Act as though I am, and I will be.”
Intentional Creation
With all that is going on in our world today… our energies have been fragmented and somewhat unfocused. This calls for us to realign ourselves with the God of our Being and to intentionally create the life of our dreams. Each Sunday during the month of October we will be talking about various aspects of conscious intentional creation.
We are made in the image and likeness of the Divine and that means that each and every one of us (no exceptions here!) contains all the attributes of the Divine. One of those attributes is most certainly the ability to create, and the fact and the Spiritual Truth are that we are always creating. We cannot NOT create. The question is, “Are we intentionally or unintentionally creating?”
Are we creating by design or are we creating by default? When we are intentionally creating, when we are creating by design, we are the happiest because we are consciously aligned with the Source of Life… God!
